There’s a nice place near me that I love to stop at whenever I need breakfast or lunch. The food is good and fairly priced, but there’s more to it than that.
The location is next to a place called Paraquad that assists those with various disabilities. The organization I work for makes several trips here per day, taking people to and from the Bloom, PQ and the PQ gym. This restaurant is serves as a training facility to teach those with disabilities new skills and help with job placement, a mission I support and encourage.
My only disappointment is that I can only get over here once or twice per week.

Nice. There’s a place near my work called Take2 - they hire women recently released from prison so they can “ learn valuable skills in restaurant management, food preparation, customer service and sales to help them secure future employment. Additionally, the women live in housing adjacent to the restaurant with additional resources to help them succeed and keep them away from negative influences. The goal is to help these women change for good by giving them the skills and confidence to secure a job and find a fulfilling life outside prison walls.”
